My name is Chelsea and I am one of the Assistant Directors of Admission who works with out-of-state students exploring opportunities at UNC Charlotte! As an admissions staff, our goal is to help you not only learn more about the university, but also about the city of Charlotte, as it is truly an extension of our campus.
The first step to becoming a 49er is to come and see us! I invite you to visit us for one of our Explore UNC Charlotte Open House Events or for one of our daily campus tours and information sessions. Guided Tours of campus are available Monday through Friday and on select Saturdays in Cato Hall.
To truly experience all that Charlotte has to offer, I encourage you to spend a weekend in the Queen City. Go shopping at one of our five world-class malls, catch a concert or sporting event at Spectrum Center, get a taste of the city through our wide variety of dining options, or explore the trendy neighborhoods that create a unique vibe for our city. As one of the fastest growing regions of the country, Charlotte is a city like no other.
If you aren't able to visit campus, there are ways to check us out virtually! See what some of our current students have to say about housing, student life, academics, and athletics through our video viewbook. You can also spend a few minutes walking through our virtual tour of campus which allows you to explore the specific areas of campus you are most interested to learn.
We are excited you have included us in your college search! I invite you to find the admissions counselor who is specifically assigned to work with you and other students in your home state. We are here to help you and we look forward to working with you as you discover new possibilities that are waiting for you in Charlotte. Please feel free to join our team, as well as other Future 49ers like yourself on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or contact me if you have any questions!
We hope to see you soon in the Queen City,
Assistant Director of Admissions
