Over 500 representatives from area schools recruit our future teachers at the education career fair each year.
Our students begin observing and assisting teachers in real classrooms throughout Charlotte and are exposed to diverse environments starting in their Freshman year.
Over 2,000 UNC Charlotte graduates are currently teaching in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School (CMS) System. Close to 7,000 UNC Charlotte alumni are teaching in North Carolina's public schools. CMS is the largest single employer of UNC Charlotte graduates.
