Terry Brown

Terry Brown Jr., a native of Fayetteville, NC, was attracted to UNC Charlotte, because of its attractive campus and ample opportunities to be active in the campus early on. As a political science and philosophy double major, Terry wasted no time getting involved thanks to his participation in the UTOP summer program.

In addition to his involvement with UTOP, Terry has served as Freshman Class President, Student Affairs Chair for the SGA executive branch, a University Tour Guide, Campus Actives Board Director, and serves on the College Democrats executive staff among other extracurricular actives. Terry credits much of his success to having good mentors and friends his freshman year, and to show his appreciation he became a UTOP mentor in hopes that he will have the impact on someone that others have had on him.
