Schedule of Events

We start with the Resource Fair, followed by a group welcome/presentation.  After this, you will choose 1 presentation from each of the three sessions. You also have the option to attend ongoing activities such as Campus Tours, Housing Tours, and the Resource Fair.

CHECK-IN: 8:00AM-9:00AM

Location: Student Activity Center (SAC)

  • If you plan to attend the Resource Fair, be sure to check in early to leave adequate time to visit all tables at the fair.

University Career Center - Location: CHHS Building (Room 376)

UNC Charlotte’s Career Center provides assistance with exploring careers & majors, developing professional skills, connecting with employers, and finding internships, co-ops, and jobs for current students and alumni.

Academic Support Services - Location: COED Building (Room 010) 

Here at UNC Charlotte, we make student success a priority. Representatives from the University Center for Academic Excellence and Multicultural Academic Services will present information about student support services and programs.

Pre-Health Professions - Location: (SAC) First Floor, Aerobics Studio

Pre-health profession advisors will discuss counseling and resources for students interested in our pre-health tracks in medical, dental, veterinary, pharmacy, optometry, physician assistant, physical therapy, podiatry, and related healthcare fields.

Housing & Residence Life - Location: Student Union, Movie Theatre

Housing & Residence Life will present information about the different types of on-campus housing and the housing application process. NOTE: Housing & Residence Life presentation is offered in all 3 sessions

Getting Admitted - Location: Woodward Hall (Room 106)

Want to find out more about becoming a 49er? In this session, we will review the admission process and application requirements at UNC Charlotte.

Transfer Admission - Location: CHHS Building (Room 155)

This session will offer an overview of the transfer application process, including information on admission, next steps for admitted students, and transferring credits. Admissions counselors will be available to answer questions.

Business - Location: (SAC) Third Floor, Salons ABC

As a hub of business, Charlotte has a multitude of advantages for our students. The Belk College of Business will provide an overview of academic programs and opportunities available within our majors.

The Levine Scholars Program - Location: (SAC) Third Floor, Salons DE

The Levine Scholars Program is the premier scholarship program at UNC Charlotte. This session is applicable to seniors who have already received a nomination for the scholarship or juniors who are interested in learning more about the opportunity.

Liberal Arts & Sciences - Location: CHHS Building (Room 376)

The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) is a place of exploration and discovery where students develop an in-depth knowledge of a chosen field as well as transferrable skills that are valuable to the workforce. This session will provide an overview of CLAS and its 34 degree programs.

Education - Location: COED Building (Room 065)

Located in one of the largest and most diverse school districts in the country, UNC Charlotte offers a wide array of programs for future educators. Representatives will provide an overview of academic programs ranging from Early Childhood Education to Secondary Education.

Transfer Resources - Location: CHHS Building (Room 145)

Transferring can be a big adjustment - come hear about some resources available on campus to help you with your transition. Get information on learning communities, transfer seminar options, and other transfer resources available to you.

Financial Aid - Location: (SAC) Third Floor, Salon ABC

Representatives from The Office of Financial Aid will present on the various types of financial aid available and the financial aid application and awarding process.

The University Honors Program (UHP) offers a unique experience for highly motivated students. If you are looking for engaging classes, a supportive community emphasizing scholarship, leadership, and community engagement, come see what our Honors experience is all about.

Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership - Location: COED Building (Room 010)

Learn about the many ways to get involved and make the most of your college experience. Hear about student organizations, the Multicultural Resource Center, Student Media, Leadership Development, and VENTURE.

Computing & Informatics - Location: Woodward Hall (Room 106)

Find out more about the academic programs & opportunities within the College of Computing and Informatics. NOTE: Meet at Woodward Hall lobby (1st Floor) immediately after Session 3 to tour the Computing Research Labs.

Engineering - Location: (SAC) Third Floor, Salons ABC

Engineering students engage in hands-on, collaborative learning both in and out of the classroom. Representatives will discuss the abundant opportunities in the College of Engineering. NOTE: Tours of the Engineering Learning Community (Hawthorn) will depart at 11:45am.

Arts + Architecture - Location: Storrs Building (Room 110)

After a welcome and overview of the programs offered within the College of Arts + Architecture, advisors from Architecture, Art & Art History, Dance, Music, and Theatre will host breakout sessions and answer your questions about these programs.

Health & Human Services - Location: (SAC) First Floor, Aerobics Studio

The field of health & human services is rapidly growing. Representatives will provide an overview of majors in Nursing, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Public Health, and Social Work.
